TomTom has replaced the Mio/Philips optical heart rate sensor used in its predecessors with a model from another manufacturer. In the Spark Cardio, a sensor from LifeQ/Osram is now being used, which should open up more possibilities. It has three green, one red and one infrared LED as well as a photodiode.
